Just testing out this app! Hope this app is good so I can post more frequently on this blog!! I am no longer in great control of my hair. It wants to do what it wants to do when it wants to. But who ever said transitioning to natural would be a regular walk in the park? If this is your idea of transition, then this may not be for you. One must have a great amount of patience and accept that it is inevitable to experience breakage due to the two textures. Now that I am approaching month 7, I must say it is the hardest and most challenging but in no way does my mind enter the thought of ever relaxing again. Relaxer days are so over!!!!! My really thin relaxed hair would take me anywhere between 3-5 minutes tops to detangle, Now? 40 minutes easy!!! See why you must practice patience? So today I find out that my twitter was hacked! It was a hot mess.........lmao I can honestly say that I don't give a hoot, simply because I do not use any Internet account as my personal diary like most of you do. I don't write anything that I do not want others to know or anything extremely private. Whoever hacked my account will be highly disappointed to see that my twitter is pretty dull and with no real excitement. Hackers actually make me laugh because it shows me how bored another person's life can be that they can spend hours sitting by their computer trying to figure out this whole Internet game and really hack into someone else's account! Is your life that wack? I believe it is........... FIND A NEW HOBBY . And on that note whoever hacked me can keep my account. I will NOT change my password or any of that silly stuff. This is the perfect protective style for my transitioning hair. I originally cornrowed my hair to do a simple braid out. For some reason a decided to cornrow the front in style just in case a came up with some kind of protective style that did not particularly have to involve a full braid out. The very first day I did my braid out but left the front undone. Due to the extreme humidity my braid out simply lasted one day. The very next day I was not comfortable with rocking my braid out so I wanted to think of a style that can be quick and easy to do without having to co-wash my hair and cornrow all over again. I mean, it was only day 2. After trying a few styles (that I was not satisfied with) I finally found one that was cute and simple and took no longer than 3 minutes to do..........  I have been rocking this particular style for 4 days now. I am too excited! I am really enjoying this journey- Have learned so much from the time my hair fell out till now. Never had I imagined that I would ever want to transition my hair back to its natural state. As much as my big sister used to harass me about going natural, I never felt ready then. I was so stuck on relaxing my hair and maintaining a straight look. Today is a totally different story! I am almost, if not, obsessed with my natural texture and curl pattern. I just cant wait to get rid of my relaxed ends. I shocked myself when I did my mini chop because I was always stuck on length and wanting to always achieve more length- But life, as it proves, has many surprises in store for us. Lets make sure we never say never cause we really never know. I really enjoy my cut and the fact that I can still do braid outs, twist outs and pin curls on my short hair makes me all the more excited. Every time I wash my hair I always stare at the scissors! What can I say? I'm am very proud of myself and will continue to keep pushing and making sure that I keep making the right decisions in life. While this cleanse was intense I was able to complete it and get the results that I knew I would get. I feel great in my new body- The best part of it all is actually getting back to fitting into my old clothes. My goal was not to be "super model thin"- I just needed to shed the pounds that I had gained throughout the months due to my poor choice of diet and really bad eating habits!! Right now I am very food conscious. I pay much attention to ingredients and calories just to make sure I keep myself on track. It would be a complete fail if after having shed the pounds I gain it all back, so I'm making sure that although I am no longer on the cleanse I am still aware of what I choose to put in my body. I have incorporated a workout routine that lasts from 30 min to an hour. And believe me, I feel great!!!! I want to t...

I will start the master cleansing diet this coming Monday!!! I have done this diet before (about 3 years ago) and the results were more than marvelous!!! I will also be going back to being a vegetarian! As good as meat can taste, I have a little secret, I'm a bit disgusted by it. So after doing the master cleansing diet I will eliminate all meat (cold turkey like I have done in the past). I'm so excited and happy that my sister is also going to be doing the diet with me!!! I will document it all on my YouTube channel and here on my blog so you all can get a feel on the ups and downs!!!! 2 weeks with NO FOOD O_0

A few days a go I did my second braid out on my short hair and decided to play a bit with some styling. I love trying new things and I came up with 6 different braid out styles. Loving each style. The video will be posted up soon on my YouTube channel and linked here. If I have not stressed enough how much I love my new cut, I am IN LOVE! And knowing that I can still style my hair in so many ways makes me all the more excited :) This experience has been truly amazing so far and the more curls I see pop out of my scalp with every wash, the more excited and anxious I become to be fully natural! :) That's how I feel! I feel great! And loving the new cut! Decided to do my mini chop after staring at my dead ends after my pre-poo today! I hated the way my ends looked and decided to finally make a bold move! I don't regret a thing! My new growth is already much easier to manage so my transition is going to be a smoother ride than what it already was. Thanking the hubby for his support, which by the way is also loving the cut. The farther I am into my transition the more creative I am becoming with hairstyling. I am mostly obsessed with buns. While I do braid outs and pin curls- buns in my opinion is fastest and easiest and can be loads of fun if you get creative. I am still inspired by a lot of naturals, including my sister who has very beautiful textured hair! I wonder why I did not listen to her when she told me years ago to transition to natural. Oh well, everything has its timing. I was not ready back then but now I am going full force. I really can say that I am loving this experience. I am learning a lot. Today I saw more curls pop out of my head! I am IN LOVE with my natural hair. It makes me feel so anxious to see it fully natural. But since I am a huge punk at BCin I will just have to wait it out. Still learning new protective styles.......but besides just simple buns, these are my current protective styles to get me through this transitioning phase. I really enjoy trying new styles. 4 months into transition :)

I am really enjoying this journey! I thought it would be hard and annoying but once I got the hang of it (which did not take long) I was amazed at the results!!! My hair has gotten thicker! Amazing how just last month I trimmed to help me focus on my transition and now I am back at the length that I was before I cut my hair, just late last month! This is amazing. I can't stress enough how hairfinity has helped me with this journey, in so many ways! So I am thankful to have found a product that works best for ME! Here are my current results: This is beautiful to me!!! I have not been focusing much on length because I am transitioning so eventually all of my relaxed hair will be chopped off at one point in time.
